Does travel insurance cover theft?

Europ Assistance travel insurance provides you with assistance in the event of the theft or loss of travel documents, passports or identity cards provided they are in the possession of the insured person at the time of the theft. Europ Assistance can also send you a spare suitcase in case of loss of flight or send you prescribed medication (not available on site). Some contracts also allow you to take out insurance against theft or loss of luggage. Europ Assistance offers round-the-clock assistance in the event of an emergency, so its customers can be assured that they will be taken care of if they encounter any problems during their journey.
