Does travel insurance cover children (minors)?

Europ Assistance travel assistance contracts cover children, but there are certain conditions. The child must be a beneficiary of the contract, be under the age of 18 and travel with a parent or guardian. If the child is travelling alone, they must have a letter of authorization from a parent or guardian. Europ Assistance's annual travel assistance contracts allow grandparents to cover their grandchildren if they accompany them on a trip. If so, contact our Customer Service.
