Do I need travel insurance to go skiing?

When choosing and purchasing travel insurance, it is important to consider the activities you will be engaging in during your trip. For example, if you are planning a skiing holiday, you will need to be sure that your insurance policy includes cover for winter sports. Europ Assistance offers ski travel insurance, which provides medical coverage of up to €1,250,000 and €5,000 for search and rescue costs. This insurance also provides for financial intervention (maximum 200 euros per person) in the ski pass costs in the event of a skiing accident. To learn more, click here.
