What to do if you lose your phone while travelling?

Losing your phone while travelling can be a huge inconvenience, but there are a few steps you can take to minimise the damage. First, contact your carrier and let them know that your phone is missing. Have your number blocked. Your carrier may be able to suspend your service/subscription or help you find the device. Finally, file a report with the local police. These measures may allow you to recover your phone or at least minimise disruption to your travel plans.
